Being in the travel industry the past couple years has really opened my eyes to some amazing new experiences and has also allowed me to create amazing new lifelong friendships. With a background in Hospitality Business from Michigan State I am pre...

I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Alaska with Uncruise for my honeymoon! This was my first experience on a small ship cruising and it was absolutely wonderful. When I say small, I mean small. The Wilderness Explorer only holds about 66 passengers compared to a large cruise ship that could hold anywhere between 3000-5000 passengers. We got to go into places of Glacier Bay that most travelers don't get to experience and we got to spend two whole days in the National Park. What's also great about traveling with Uncruise is you get to choose from excursions like kayaking, paddle boarding, bushwhacking, hiking, skift boat tours, and more which are included in the cost of the cruise. Uncruise is great if you want to get off the beaten path and explore more of the real Alaska (or whichever destination you choose). Not to mention the staff were all great and you could get to know them on a more personal level. Alaska exceeded my expectations and it has so much to offer! We saw so much wildlife including sea lions, humpback whales, orca, bears, and eagles. On our first day we floated down the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve River and it was beautiful.
