It's hard to believe that I've been in the travel industry for over 30 years now but if anything, I'm more passionate about travel than ever. I don't just sell travel. I'm lucky enough that both my husband and I are able to work remotely via the internet. This has allowed us to spend extended periods of time in the destinations living like a local and going beyond the standard tourist experience... I’ve lived in Rome for 3 months, just footsteps from the Coliseum. Explored London by the “Tube”. There’s a fishing village south of Barcelona that is dear to my heart that we go back to time after time. Now, with most of Europe under my belt we've recently started to explore Southeast Asia spending time in Thailand, Cambodia. With plans of Vietnam and Malaysia in the near future.
While I can sell you the standard tour packages. My specialty is custom tours where we include special stops and events tailored to your group’s interest. I try to make it as close to an all-inclusive experience as possible including meals, tips and special experiences the standard tours don’t include. Whenever possible, I go along to act as liaison and make sure you get exactly what you pay for. If there is a free day, I’ll often take the less experienced travelers off the beaten path and we’ll make a unique experience of using public transit to visit unexpected sites.
Christian Pilgrimages to Rome and the Holy Land (aka: Israel) are some of the most common groups tours I arrange. I work with the group leader to arrange times and places for mass, prayer and reflection as the group desires. But my tours go to a wide variety of destinations including Egypt, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Germany. We have even done several river cruises.
I’m nowhere close to being finished with my exploration of Europe but, it’s certainly not the limit of my travels. In the past couple of years, I’ve spent a month in Merida Mexico exploring the Mayan ruins and getting to know the local people. I’ve cruised on the Amazon in Brazil swimming with the Boto Dolphins in the wild. I’ve visited India going from Delhi to Mumbai (Bombay) via Agra, Jaipur, including Tiger tracking in Ranthambore National Park. Whether it's exploring the Land of the Pharaohs, Egypt, Cruising the Nile or taking the back roads of Kenya and Tanzania staying in luxury tents and looking for the exotic animals in the wild. I can help make your trip memorable
I’d love to have the opportunity to take you along on the next trip. With the internet, it doesn’t matter where I am. Give me a call and I’ll pick up (don’t worry about the cost of the call, it’s a local number for you and I pay next to nothing.)
